GEN TV is an entertainment streaming service concept with a focus on social media influencer content, movies and shows. As associate creative director I was tasked with developing its initial brand identity. We took inspiration from pop, punk, and hip-hop culture letting our personal interests influence the direction. GEN TV’s innovative, creator focused business model along with its attitude and playfulness sets itself apart from the competition. I created the logo and a library of icons and illustrations. I worked with a team of product designers and developers in creating assets such as the website, mobile application, app store graphics, landing pages, and other digital marketing material.
I illustrated an asset library featuring many of my own personal interests growing up. This includes anime, horror movies, electronics, and food.
Inspired by YouTube’s thumbs up / down buttons these icons were created for users to rate GEN TV content that either “slaps” or “sucks”.
These were created for animated bumpers shown in-between content plays or advertising breaks.
